The farewell cum welcome ceremony for the honourable transition on the position of RCMC Principal

A farewell cum welcome ceremony was organized by the honourable teachers and administration of RCMC&H on June 4, 2020, where our honourable Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter was given a farewell and Professor Dr. Md. Shamsuzzaman was welcomed as the new principal in the college administration. All the staff members including the administrative staff and the teachers attended the event and bid a tearful good-bye to the ex-principal while warmly welcoming the new principal with maintaining proper social distancing and safety measures. The event was beautifully hosted by our dearest Sr. Administrative officer Mrs. Zafrin Akter and the heads of all departments put forth some mesmerizing speech and performances in honour of the ex-principal and the new principal of the school.

The event concluded by presenting a small gift of love to Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter.

Our honourable Chairman, Nilu Ahasan spoke at length to the audience through an online meeting, highlighting the innumerable contributions of Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter for the betterment of this medical college. He mentioned how she carried an aura that affected all around her and how she had in one way or the other touched every member of the RCMC&H family. She also expressed her gratitude to her for raising the school to great heights. In her speech, the chairman also welcomed the new principal, Professor Dr. Md. Shamsuzzaman and wished him good luck for his new journey in this institute. He mentioned how she hoped that the new principal will further strengthen this college and take us to greater heights. Professor Dr. M. M. A. Wadud Mostafa, the vice-principal also spoke in the event. He spoke on behalf of all the teachers of the school. He, in his speech, while bidding good-bye to Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter thanked her for always being the helping and guiding hand for all the staff members. He mentioned that it was a delight and an honour to have worked with Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter and also narrated how she had been a great leader and guiding light for all. Professor Dr. M. M. A. Wadud Mostafa also welcomed our new principal and expressed the hope to share a motivating and inspiring workspace with him.

A representative from each academic department and the administration also spoke on the event and expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter while presenting a warm welcome to Professor Dr. Md. Shamsuzzaman. This significant ceremony turned into a journey of golden memories and gone through full of intense moments while saying good-bye brought tears to the eyes of all. Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter also began to address her audience in a tearful speech and bid good-bye with thanking each of all present there for always being with her and allowing her to create a respectable college with better academic culture in the college environment. She thanked the honourable chairman, Nilu Ahasan and the honourable managing director, Md. Nazmul Ahasan Sarkar for allowing her to be the principal of this institute and also share her gratitude to our honourable deputy managing director, Md Asraful Al-amin for his continuous assistance in all her initiatives. She said it was a beautiful journey for her to be the head of this institution for all these years and got nostalgic while saying how this allowed her a chance to reconnect with her roots in Medical study. She mentioned how working here was an enriching experience for her and how she was taking away with her all the cherished memories of this institute as its Principal. The event concluded by presenting a small gift of love to Professor Dr. Afroza Bulbul Akhter by our honourable deputy managing director, Md Asraful Al-Amin on behalf of the entire RCMC&H administration and Rangpur Group.
