On 17th March 2020, the 100th anniversary of the Birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed at RCMC, RCNC and RDC premises with due respect and solemnity. On this occasion, authorities had been enlisted few elaborated programs during the day time which were included: hoisting of national flag with singing the national anthem, morning rally, placing floral wreath, discussion, documentary film show and photo exhibition. Principal Prof. Dr. Afruza Bulbul Akhtar along with Director Bir Muktijoddha Alhajj Mejor (Retd) Md. Nasim Uddin and other honourable professors placed floral wreath at the Mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman first. Then different group of students, professors & lecturers, doctors and interns also placed floral wreath. A reminiscent discussion program on ‘The Birth of Bangabandhu’ held today at conference hall in RCMC academic building. RCMC Principal Prof. Dr. Afruza Bulbul Akhtar, RDC Principal Prof. Dr. Md. Hafizul Islam, Deputy Managing Director Md. Asraful Alam Alamin and  Director Bir Muktijoddha Alhajj Mejor (Retd) Md. Nasim Uddin was present as hounourable guests and delivered their speech. RCMC Principal Prof. Dr. Afruza Bulbul Akhtar presided over the discussion program where Prof. Dr. M. M. A. Wadud Mostafa, Vice Principal & Head of Department of Physiology and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Head of the Department of Biochemistry were present as remarkable speakers.  The discussion program was also addressed among others: Asso. Prof. Dr. Syed Mamun, Assistant Professor Dr. Shah Ahasanul Imran and Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim (Head of the Department of DFM). All faculty members, students, doctors, Officers and Employees were present at that time.
