RCMCH & RDC organised a meeting with Bangladesh Police in the welfare of Foreign Students

Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud has said that Rangpur Community Medical College and Rangpur Dental College are playing a big role in the development of the health sector in Rangpur along the whole of Bangladesh. Foreign students enrolled in these medical institutes of Rangpur Group have never violated the law and order of our country by following the administrative rules of these medical institutions.

He also said, “I expect that the chain of these rules and regulations will hold the students’ discipline of these institutions in future as well. He added that the Rangpur Metropolitan Police will always extend their helping hands if foreign students need any assistance for their visas or any disturbances.

He urged foreign students to come to Rangpur Community Medical College in Bangladesh to complete their medical studies and return to their homeland to serve in self-esteem medical services.

He spoke with the foreign students while addressing the meeting of foreign students and Rangpur Metropolitan Police at a pre-scheduled meeting organized by Rangpur Community Medical College and Rangpur Dental College on Saturday night. Rangpur Group’s Deputy Managing Director Md. Asraful Alam Alamin, RCMC Principal Prof. Dr. Afruza Bulbul Akhtar and Head of the Rangpur City Special Branch Shamima Aktar also spoke at the meeting to welcome these initiatives of our governments and Bangladesh Police.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Rangpur Metropolitan Police Abu Sufian, panel mayor of Rangpur City Corporation and Ward Councilor (No. 19) Mahmudur Rahman Titu, Manager of Dutch Bangla Bank Rangpur branch Apurba Roy, RCMCH Additional Director (Hospital) Merazul Mohsin, Foreign students of Rangpur Community Medical College & Rangpur Dental College, Senior officers from all levels of the Rangpur Metropolitan Police were present and involved in this meeting and its initiatives.

During the meeting, the rules & regulations to protect students and foreigners regarding Bangladeshi laws and the initiatives taken by the department of Bangladesh police and its special branch for ensuring the safety in the movement of foreign students were highlighted through a presentation.
